About
OMEGA brushes have been manufactured in Italy since 1946. These beautifully crafted brushes have been developed to suit a wide range of users from the decorative arts to fine art. OMEGA specialise in big brush sizes which lend themselves for use on large expressive works. The increasing popularity of large acrylic paintings and street art pieces has helped OMEGA to spread their brand globally and they are now widely recognised as a provider of essential artists tools.
The History
The company was founded in 1931, when the previous property, which had started before the Second world War, was taken over. At that time the main business concerned the manufacturing of bristle but was progressively replaced by the production of shaving and painting brushes.Â
In the 80's, the production of painting rollers was introduced which became an important part of the OMEGA range.
Over the years, the activity has always remained under the family management, reaching an important position in the market of professional painting brushes and wet shaving products, so becoming the leader in the field.Â
In 1964 the factory moved from the original small building to the current site, upgraded several times over the years to the today's almost 5000m².
The current Chief of the Company began to give his contribution to his fathers business when he was just thirteen. Now, ninety five years old, he's still involved and supported by his nephews and other members of the family, as well as by many other qualified collaborators.Â
Our production, identified by OMEGA brand, marks a complete range of professional high quality paint brushes and rollers and a wide selection of shaving brushes and shaving sets both in bristle, badger or synthetic fibres.
OMEGA's high quality production is due to the great experience in manufacturing and to the careful selection of raw materials. The brand is widespread not only in Italy but all over the World, even in those countries when a well-establishes and qualified domestic production exists.
