Alice Hole

Alice Hole is an award winning artist living and working in Cornwall, producing art, paintings and drawings inspired by her beautiful surroundings.

As an artist, Alice can’t help but be constantly inspired by her surroundings in Cornwall where she lives. She loves the beautiful landscapes which change with the seasons, dramatic coastlines with vast skies, rolling turquoise seas and the historic mining towns with their quirky architecture and meandering lanes. The light in Cornwall is like nowhere else and like many artists, this continues to be a main source of my inspiration for her.

Her work has been exhibited throughout the United Kingdom and has been awarded prizes in art competitions, including â€˜The Artist and Leisure Painter Open Art Exhibition’. Her work has also been featured in many art blogs and featured in magazines including ‘The Artist Magazine’ and ‘Artists & Illustrators Magazine. This year Alice won the 2017 Global Art Supplies award at the NAPA exhibition.

Here are two paintings from Alice using Golden Heavy Body Acrylics, ‘Pause For thoughts of Gold’ and ‘Portside Shimmering – Porthleven’.
