Catherine’s work is a response to what is inside and outside. Using bright colour, movement and texture, she draws, paints or prints using a mix of materials and techniques, working on canvas or paper. She is interested in the contrast between natural and man-made forms.
Catherine has an Honours degree in Fine Art/Painting and a PGCE in Art and Design. Her work is in Galleries and private collections throughout the UK. Catherine is also a member of NAPA.
Catherine likes to use Sennelier acrylics for large painting areas whilst choosing to use Golden acrylics for areas that require thicker paint. Catherine particularly likes the Sennelier fluorescent colours, and loves to use the orange in her colourful paintings as it’s particularly warm and vibrant.
